Harper Collins graded readers in the BOOKR Class Library

Quality over quantity has always been an important pillar of BOOKR’s philosophy - that’s why their library app is filled with books that are carefully selected over a long list of criteria.
BOOKR Class partners with the bests when it comes to publishers, and the latest addition to the BOOKR library proves it right: HarperCollins’ Peapod Readers are soon to be available for BOOKR users.
harper colins partnership

HarperCollins is not ‘only’ home to the most iconic bears in children’s literature – have you heard of the world famous Paddington or Rupert and Winnie-the-Pooh? – but it’s the second largest consumer book publisher in the world. They publish around 1,500 books a year, and they’re the only UK publisher to release audio versions of all our new fiction, narrative non-fiction and children’s books at the same time as their print publication.

Creating books for young English learners aged 4 to 8, Collins Peapod Readers are exactly in line with BOOKR’s goals: engaging the learners with native narration and exciting stories, exploring the world from a child’s perspective.

These books also allow learners to improve their English vocabulary and key language skills, as all readers include before and after reading activities. They align with the Cambridge English Qualifications Pre A1 Starters and A1 Movers.

BOOKR Class is excited for the next steps in their partnership. ‘This is only the beginning of a fruitful collaboration! We love the Peapod Readers and can’t wait to see our users’ reactions to the animated versions.’
