BOOKR Class, the multi-awarded international startup that offers an interactive educational app designed to make learning English engaging and fun for children is teaming up with The Educational Equality Institute and Amazon Web Services to offer 1000 free licenses to support Ukrainian organizations helping children affected by the war.
The initiative will provide animated English books and games to a range of organizations, including Care and their Recovery Camps for children affected by the war, several orphanages, Help Ukraine Donbas, and various libraries such as the Library Union of Ukraine and Schevchenko kids library in Kyiv. The app features native narration, text highlighting, songs, and flashcards, providing the perfect supplementary material for children learning English.

The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI ) is a registered non-governmental organisation headquartered in Oslo, Norway. The organisation is committed to educating and empowering disadvantaged children from underprivileged and conflict-affected areas. In response to the war in Ukraine, TEEI started “Together for Ukraine” in February 2022, which aims to provide free educational programs for 100,000 Ukrainians. The organisation firmly believes that education, upskilling, and employment are among the most impactful ways to support the people of Ukraine.
